Knowing the Theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin
As one of the most notable naturalists who do a lot of works and observations to the biology subjects, the name of Charles Darwin is quite familiar to us. Charles Darwin is known for his theory of Evolution for years. Surprisingly, that theory found to be relevant in today’s life.
Who is Charles Darwin?
Charles Darwin is known as the famous naturalist and biologists. He was born on 12 February 1809 in Shrewsbury, England. He was born in the middle of the wealthy family. According to – Darwin loves nature and a free man who love to explore. His theory of Evolution was born after he made a five-year journey around the world using the HSM Beagle. He observed a did the research on flora and fauna around the world using a ship.
The Voyage with HMS Beagle
Charles Darwin started his voyage using HSM Beagle on 27 December 1831. His purpose is to make an observation and gather the information of all species he found around the world. Charles Darwin made a journey to observe any insects, birds, mammals, fossils, plants and other subjects related to the botany also zoology.
He is really amazed at the flora and fauna he found in the Galapagos Archipelago, Pacific Ocean, Pacific Islands, and South America. During his journey in the ship, he recorded all the findings and data through the writing.
The Theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin
After his long journey, he started to do deep thinking about his findings. Charles Darwin found something interesting with his investigation that he found some resemblances among all the flora and fauna around the world. He came to the conclusion that those species shared the same ancestors. They experienced changes based on the environment they lived as a part of adaptation. This process later on called as the natural selection. Only the strongest will survive, otherwise, those who are weaker will extinct.
The theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin resulted from long observation and research done for years. Based on the theory of evolution by Darwin, the species in this world had the same ancestors; however, they all experienced natural selection as the process of the evolution itself.
